🌷Chapter 1-90

A drunk man was heavier than usual, pressing down on Su Ning like a mountain. Before he could explain anything, the man had already pinned him down.

Su Ning, who grew up doing odd jobs and eating plain vegetables, was no match for Gu Lingfeng, who regularly frequented the gym. His movements were messy and frantic, quickly subdued and rendered immobile by the man.

His resistance on the sofa grew weaker and weaker, and when Su Ning tried to call out to the drunken man, all his words were drowned between lips and teeth.

The next morning, Su Ning woke up in bed feeling sore all over, like he’d been run over by a truck. At the slightest movement, a sharp pain shot through a hidden part of his body, and he couldn’t help but hiss.

Beast.

Su Ning cursed through gritted teeth. He wasn’t drunk, so he didn’t have a hangover. He remembered everything that had happened the day before with absolute clarity.

He had originally come to take care of Gu Lingfeng at the request of Fan Xin, only to find that the drunk man couldn’t recognize faces and had mistaken him for his lover, ravaging him wantonly from afternoon all the way into the night. Su Ning had no idea where the drunk man had gotten all that stamina from.

It was Su Ning’s first time, and Gu Lingfeng, drunk and rough, hadn’t shown even a shred of gentleness. The result was that Su Ning was now bedridden and unable to even crawl out.

He lay there for a long while before he finally recovered a bit of strength and managed to climb out of bed with great difficulty, limping slowly out of the bedroom.

Gu Lingfeng was already gone. The room was empty except for Su Ning. As his eyes inadvertently swept across the living room sofa, they froze. His expression twitched slightly.

Since he had still been sleeping in the bedroom, no one had come to clean the room. Everything remained the same as yesterday.

Looking at the messy sofa, Su Ning remembered what Gu Lingfeng had done to him there. His face flushed uncontrollably.

He had lost his virginity, but Su Ning wasn’t particularly angry. Nor did he take the matter too seriously. Though it had been forced, and the man’s roughness had brought more pain than pleasure, there had been a few moments of... satisfaction.

— Most importantly, Gu Lingfeng was his boss’s boss. Even if he were angry, he couldn’t vent it at him. Not unless he wanted to lose his job.

Just think of it as buying a high-end escort to end my virgin years — and for free, too.

If Gu Lingfeng ever found out what Su Ning really thought, he’d probably be furious. And Su Ning’s job likely wouldn’t survive.

After a shower and a bit of cleanup, Su Ning picked up his phone and saw several missed calls — all from Fan Xin.

Su Ning instantly felt a headache coming on. He didn’t know how to explain things to Fan Xin, nor did he have any idea what Gu Lingfeng was thinking. The man had left without a word. Su Ning wasn’t even sure if, upon waking and seeing him in bed, Gu Lingfeng had recognized him — or mistaken him for someone trying to sleep their way up.

Headache.

He rubbed his temples but didn’t call Fan Xin back. Instead, he left the club and drove to the film set.

Back at the set, Fan Xin happened to be free and watching someone else film. When she saw Su Ning, she raised her brows and asked, “Why didn’t you answer my calls? Were you with Gu Lingfeng all night?”

Su Ning paused, a flicker of discomfort crossing his face. After a moment’s hesitation, he muttered, “Yeah.”

— Last night... technically was “taking care” of Gu Lingfeng.

Fan Xin didn’t notice anything off. She glanced at his complexion and frowned. “Must’ve been a long night. I don’t need you here right now — go back to the hotel and rest.”

Su Ning didn’t argue. He was holding himself together just to walk normally and hide any signs of pain. In his current condition, staying on set was impossible.

As for what happened last night... well, he’d just chalk it up to caring for a drunken man.

“Alright, Sister Xin, I’ll head back to the hotel. Call me if you need anything.”

Fan Xin nodded and teased, “This time, make sure your phone isn’t on silent or something. I couldn’t reach you at all last night.”

Su Ning paused, a trace of awkwardness on his face. “Yeah... I’ll remember.”

Truthfully, it hadn’t been that his phone was on silent — he’d just been in no shape to answer.

Back at the hotel arranged by the crew, Su Ning ate a little something and then collapsed into bed, sleeping like the dead.

While Su Ning was still out cold, down in the hotel restaurant, Fan Xin was having lunch with the very man Su Ning had shared that turbulent night with.

The man was dressed in a tailored suit. His outstanding looks and refined demeanor turned heads across the dining area. But his face was expressionless, and what was meant to be a relaxing meal felt more like a tense business meeting. He carried an air of arrogance and detachment, entirely unapproachable.

Across from him, Fan Xin, who had clearly taken time to dress up, ate her salad without tasting it, barely managing to get it down.

After a long silence, the two finished their meal. Gu Lingfeng pulled out a pale blue handkerchief to dab his mouth, then placed a card in front of Fan Xin. His tone was flat:

“This card, plus the apartment in West Suburban Park, and the two cars I gave you before — they’re all in your name now.”

Gu Lingfeng glanced at the bitter expression on Fan Xin’s face with the same cold indifference, completely unmoved.

“If you want additional compensation, just say the word.”
